APPLICATION:

 

Used to braze on steels, copper alloys, nickel alloys and stainless steels, the addition of tin improves strength and corrosion resistance in the weld deposit.

 

 

 

NOTE:

 

1.Brass solder welding should be brazed quickly to avoid excessive local temperature, zinc evaporation and pore formation.

2.Generally, brass solder should be used with copper welding powder HZ-QJ301 or HZ-QJ302 to promote the capillary effect of solder and remove oxide layer.

Brass Brazing Filler Metals

Brass brazing alloys also called Copper-Zinc brazing alloys , could be divided into normal brass alloy and special brass alloy.

Different from normal brass alloy, special brass alloy is a multi-component copper alloy composed with Sn, Mn,Ni, Fe, Si and other elements.

Special brass alloys have better brazing properties than normal copper-zinc alloys.

It could provide better brazing strength , higher corrosion resistance, more convenient brazing process,ect.

For example, the addition of Sn can reduce the melting point of common copper-zinc alloy, make brazing temperature lower and easier to operate; the addition of Mn can improve the strength of copper-zinc alloy, more suitable for the use of cemented carbide products.

Special brass brazing alloy is cheap and widely used.

It could match the brazing demand of iron, steel,cemented carbide, or copper products by various brazing processes.

Could be shaped into different kinds of shapes, such as: ring, wire, straight rod, flat sheet, particles, powder, paste, ect.
